Fox Hill All Stars

For many years, there was a men's fast pitch softball team which played at Francis Asbury Park behind the elementary school.  The team had many names during this time for various sponsors.  They were the Poquoson Motormen (Poquoson Motors, now Pomoco), Fox Hill All Stars, etc.  Many of the players were outstanding, especially their pitcher, Ron Peterson.  During the 1960s and early 1970s, they often played in and own tournaments -- first at the regional level and then advancing to the world tournament.   Many exciting games were played with Fox Hillians traveling to Florida, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and even Missouri to cheer for the home team.
